Description

BLAST these CRAYONS!!!

Not counting my first attempt at this drawing, this is my second time drawing Rabbit and my first time wif Hatchy and The Spine.

I like this one better. HatchWorth is sorta hard for me because, while he is thin, he's not like THIN thin thin, how I usually draw people. Still, it was good practice and I think it turned out alright. YAY!

HI!!!! I finally found you!! Not sure if you’re ever going to read this but

in fifth grade I was browsing the internet, looking at pictures of art on Google (2016). At the same time I was writing a collaborative story with a few friends. I discovered your piece and it blew me away. I had no idea what Steam Powered Giraffe was at the time and your art gave me the chance to discover them! More importantly, It also gave me the exact idea of the characters I was trying to implement into my story. I fell in love with how you drew them. Like seriously, I’d stare at this piece everyday because it meant so much to me. (and it still does!!) I proudly showed my friends your drawing and told them they were going to be my inspiration for my new characters. From left to right of who inspired me, I called my new characters Ghottaby, Wensly, and Frottrad. (I have old drawings of them somewhere lol) I instantly fell in love with my characters. Your amazing style helped me to create their personalities (in the story they were villainous robots!) and encouraged me to continue with the story and the art I created. I broke up my friendships with all these people, but I kept these characters near and dear to my heart. I still use Ghottaby as one of my characters! (he took inspiration from your drawing of Rabbit!) Had I not discovered this artwork, I would never have had the chance to find inspiration and create such characters and find such a love in storytelling. I wish I could tell all this in person because I don’t think I can find the right words here, but I hope you know that this piece is one of the most impactful on me. I want to say thank you, it is absolutely stunning and will forever hold a dear place in my heart. If you search through my gallery you can find drawings of Ghottaby, and I’m sure you can see resemblance to your Rabbit! I am still continuing to write Ghottaby‘s story! He embarks on a journey to The Land of the First with a girl named Esmerald and his loyal wolf Everine After his failed attempt to kill Esmerald, a plan that was 18 years in the making (veerrry long story)

so thank you so much again!!! I can’t imagine where I’d be now had I never seen this piece. Much love!!💖💖💖💖
